This guy rode 6,000 miles on his 2008 Yamaha WR250R. As he says:
Fuel injection, 6spd transmission, ~25-30hp, ~300 pounds wet. IMO, the best 50/50 dual sport on the market. It'll roll 65+mph all day long and take you anywhere off road you're brave enough to ride it short of maybe sand dunes and hill climbs.
In keeping with my new policy, I have to say that's a pretty sexy bike.

Seven thousand on my 07 Suzuki DR650 (almost perfectly 50/50, in my estimation) and I'm not done. Getting cold up here in Maine but no way I'm putting that beast away until there's three feet of snow on the ground.
